Welcome to Basingstoke & Deane Canoe Club

Want to give it a try or just get in touch?

BADCC is known locally as a social canoe club where all are welcome to learn, develop and experience open canoe and kayaking to whatever level you want. We take part in a wide range of paddling sports and have a great group of BCU (British Canoe Union) qualified coaches.

If you feel like giving this sport a try with us, please get in touch to see what we can do for you! Alison will usually reply quickly to let you know where and when will be best for you.

Courses and Coaching

BADCC is able to run range of introductory and intermediate canoe and kayak training courses. Our more experienced coaches are able to offer training on advanced white water. We also provide safety and first aid training courses and occasional "hints and tips" in our newsletter.

Paddling sessions and where we meet

The club has three main locations it paddles at for club days or club nights. The Basingstoke Canal near Odiham, Queen Marys College pool and the Wharf at Newbury. Look at our club sessions page to find out more.
