Next Junior Intro Course
The next introductory course for Juniors (under 14 (ish - we realise that people develop at different rates)) with little or no kayaking experience who wish to start with the basics will start on Wednesday 4th April.
Next Intro Course
The date for the next introductory course for Adults (14+ (ish - we realise that people develop at different rates)) with little or no kayaking experience who wish to start with the basics will start on Wednesday 10th August.
Sea Kayak Introductory Weekend
The last sea kayak introductory weekend was held on 4th/5th June 2011. We are hoping to run another such weekend will be runnext summer (2012). The two days will use the relatively sheltered waters of Poole Harbour or Southampton Water to introduce the basics of sea kayaking using the Club's sea kayaks to paddlers who are confident paddling on the flat water of the canal.
Two Star Training
The next Two Star course will start on 22nd February 2012.
The Two Star training is aimed at improving paddlers who have got to grips with the basic strokes, such as forwards paddling and turning, and who want to master a full range of strokes for both canoe and kayak.
