Saturday 6th October
A morning's work and we start to make progress on a hardstanding in the car park section of the site.
We used the Saturday morning slot to use a mini-digger to trim the east end of the car park so we can start laying geogrid and crushed stone to form a hardstanding.
The edge of the geogrid has been left temporarily exposed so we can lap the next section of geogrid.
There is another 4 metre wide strip that can be laid when we have volunteers to move the crushed stone!
In the afternoon there was some tidying to do:
- all the meadow was strimmed
- odds and ends were tidied on to the hard standing
- and we found time to admire the progress of the landscaping works
