We are paddling on the Basingstoke Canal in the Spring and Summer (April to September)

On  Wednesdays we paddle on the Basingstoke Canal and meet at 6:30pm at Colt Hill, Odiham. We are generally finished by 8:30pm (finish time depends on daylight so tends to be earlier in April and September!)

In addition, we also have some sessions on Saturday mornings from 9:30 - 12:30. These do not happen every week, so you need to look at the Club Calendar

Friday Evenings - May to Early September

During the spring and summer the Club runs a fun session for younger paddlers on the Basingstoke Canal each Friday evening from 6.00 to 7.30pm each week.

March to September (3rd Saturday of Each Month)

There will be taster sessions run from Colt Hill Clubhouse on the Basingstoke Canal in Odiham on the third Saturday of the month through the summer.

Paddle to Old Thatch Cottage

Old Thatch Cottage in Winchfield is the lovely cottage on the Basingstoke Canal with the horse sculpture in the garden. It will be opening to the public several times this year under the National Gardens Scheme, with proceeds going to charity (Sebastian's Action Trust). Kayakers and canoeists are invited to paddle to the garden. It is about a 40 minute paddle from Colt Hill (head left when you get on the water, away from Greywell) and if you arrive thirsty and hungry there will be a selection of refreshments on sale.

Basingstoke CanalDuring the summer when we are paddling on canals and rivers and have a couple of months away from the confines of the pool, it is important that we pay particular attention of the abilities and requirements of the whole group. Here are a few ground rules:
