Whilst we had excavated the bulk of the area inside the double gates on the last digger day that still left the strip right next to the gate to clean up.
The plan for the day started as spending an hour or two digging by hand to see how difficult it was going to be to clean out the final strip. Two hours later the remaining clay had been removed and the geogrid exposed ready to continue the hardstanding through the gate and inside the compound.
