Saturday 10th October

Over the summer the Club's focus at Colt Hill has been on paddling.  As the days grow shorter and colder our thoughts have returned to the fabric of the Clubhouse, in particular finishing off around the building.

Two elements are key to finishing around the building - firstly trimming the soil to the final profile and secondly replacing the temporary fence with the permanent steel mesh fence. Over the summer trimming the soil had been started in association with meadow cuts.  Today we completed the bulk trim down the north side of the Clubhouse and have erected a further three panels of the permanent fence.
