River Barle Weekend 2025
7th to 9th November 2025
In November 2025 we will be visiting the River Barle in north Devon. This scenic river is mainly grade 2 white water, though if the water levels are high, the top section from Tarr Steps to Dulverton can be continuous grade 3 with an alpine feel.
River Usk Weekend 2025
5th to 7th December 2025
In December we will be making our yearly pilgrimage to the River Usk in South Wales. This is a scenic touring white water run on mainly grade II water. There are some grade III drops near Sennybridge, at Mill Falls and at Spuhler’s Folly, although all can be portaged. A good river to practice your boofing!
River Dart Weekend 2026
16th to 18th January 2026
This paddle is the highlight of the Club white water season. A gem of a river, the Dart has something for everyone. The “Loop” is a high value red paddle, with a number of Grade 3 rapids (all of which can be portaged) and plenty of play spots. The Lower is less difficult, often considered a warm-up for the Loop, but a nice paddle in its own right. The Upper is a continuous Grade 4 paddle and for experienced Grade 4 white water paddlers only.
